The certification differs from an educational designation or state license in that it is based upon requirements that have been determined by extensive job analyses of actual practitioners in the field, and therefore, continue to evolve with the profession. The CFP® certification prepares the financial services professional for a career-long commitment to meeting the ever-changing financial needs of clients.

The CLU® designation is the world’s most respected designation of insurance expertise.  This designation symbolizes a commitment to the profession and has been recognized throughout the United States as the credential that exemplifies insurance expertise.

 

RETIRED INCOME CERTIFIED PROFESSIONAL (RICP®)

The Retirement Income Certified Professional (RICP®) program prepares financial planners to:

  • Create an effective retirement income plan to maintain a client's desired lifestyle over the course of retirement.
  • Identify retirement income needs and objectives and evaluate the client's current situation relative to those goals.
  • Help a client determine the optimal retirement age, and choose appropriate annuities for the retirement income plan.
  • Become more familiar with the latest research on strategies for ensuring that retirement assets last a lifetime.
  • Select a method for funding long-term care needs.
  • Create and manage retirement income portfolios appropriate for each client's situation.
